Akhand Mahayog & Kshan(क्षण)

Excerpts translated from ‘Introduction to Akhand Mahayog’ written in Hindi by SN Khandelwal ji.

In tantra we talk about Mahashunya, mahabindu, pran etc. it is said that while entering the mahabindu, siddh people realize that due to the pain of the jeev jagat, Surya Vigyan has already descended but on entering the time limited by formation of past, present and future, where though this great knowledge has descended and entered every pore of its manifestation but still creation is still not been able to taste it in any way. When that time will come when all the people will be able to experience that great knowledge, none knows it.

Great saints have already prophesized it in the past but long time has since passed but still it has not happened. Does it mean that their words were not true? This world is karm dependent. With the help Karm alone Karm can be transcended. It is a rule that whole of the creation is incomplete or finite. This finite has to work itself to become infinite. Because of being indulged in karma the whole creation is finite. Then what is solution to it? Writer of the scriptures say that for achieving that infinite state, jeev has to take refuge in ॑मां॑/‘Ma’/ mother, as a child is totally dependent on mother. ‘M’ is the last letter of the sparsh varna in Hindi alphabets. After this half matra आ᳚ takes form and joins with Ma and offers code of conduct(maryada) and it spreads everywhere. Now form of mantra is Ma Ma/ मा मा. Even the seven parts of pranav also merge in to the mysterious Ma. By chant of this mantra of mother by the child, she would come to him/ her. She, the Mother is omnipresent. On Her arrival all the opposing negative forces will just disappear.   In the letter of Pranav A/ - U/ - M/ , after the first two letter is Ma. So A and U re-entering M. Now ardhmatra Aa/ आ᳚ joins with it happily and it takes the form of MA or Mother and its expansion takes place up to infinity. This is the mantra of completion of the karma which has been given the highest position in Akhand Mahayog. This is the mooladhar of time annihilation and completion of the work. Because of this absence only, there is sense of dearth in the creation.  This cry of the child is essential for the establishment of the guru realm in the cosmos.

All the great men have been distressed by the pain of the cosmos and jeev. Whatever they could they tried to eradicate this pain but were able to remove it partly depending upon their own capability but could not completely remove it. Right from the times of creation, whole realm of Gurus has been working towards this goal alone. They have succeeded to some extent but have not been able to remove it completely. The complete removal of it will take place only when time is annihilated.

In the cosmos whatever exists, exits till its duration of experience only. After it has been experienced its no longer needed. In the same way of time will also annihilate. As per Gopinath Kaviraj that time is approaching. This is the work of the yogis of Gurumandal gyan ganj. In the realm of Kaal or Time gurus also have to adhere to its rules and regulation but in the realm of Gurus, kaal or time has no say.

The manifested Kaal in form, is seen but that which is not manifested cannot be seen. After winning over manifested kaal or time, one will be able to win over non-manifested entity of kaal too but till date it has not been achieved. To transcend this Kshan/ क्षण has to be realized. In akhand mahayog by realizing this Kshan only, annihilation of time takes place. By the pulsation of Kshan only, Present, past and future exists. By achieving non-pulsating state of Kaal/ time only, Nectarian period will commence. For that, cry for the mother or ‘Ma’ is essential.

Kaal and Kriya are one. From the unmanifested, unfragmented and subtle kaal or time, gives rise to Time and Space. In the Gyanganj named realm of Gurumandal, where Akhand Mahayog work is going on, there Kaal or time is not the presiding deity but it is totally under the desire of the guru-mandal. But whenever any Guru takes birth in the world, he passes that eternal message of the Gyanganj to the grieved people of the Earth and then embraces death. But when the akhand guru will appear, Kaal will be annihilated and even the smallest of the jeev will never experience pain of any kind. Akhand Mahayog is the lighted pillar of this very state. Kaal is manifested form and it can be overcome by Kriya only. Kriya only takes us there where there is static state without any touch of matra. This staticism is not of ignorance but of jeev’s complete surrender where he attains a state of the seer of saakshi and then doer becomes non-doer. In akhand mahayog the boding between kriya and triad of time has been done in a very scientific manner. In the doing itself, there is point which take it to the extreme of non-doing. In the same manner, in the triad(past-present-future) of time also there is point which takes one beyond time. This is the adroitness of practice. When with the grace of one’s guru, one gets the technique of offering same into Sushumana, then that non-doer state is achieved. The merging of kaal flow takes place at the sandhi/ conjunction point or sthal. We will have to find neutral point of conjunction of day and night. One conjunction is of rising, other of visibility or opening, third is of termination. Without knowing these sandhis, kaal cannot be won over. First conjunction is Swar or vowel sandhi, second is vyanjan or consonant sandhi while third is Visarg sandhi. In their absence, the duality of kaal cannot be transcended.                 

Mahanisha sandhi is given the highest point in Akhand Mahayog. Kriya for annihilating Kaal is performed at 12 ‘o’clock at night during Mahanisha and during that only Kaal can be transcended. Karm has three main parts, namely Kriya or action, Jap and Seva or service. These are acquired at Gurupurnima. Service of mother is Akhand Mahayog’s longstanding activity. It helps in the removal of disruption during sadhana. Mahanisha-sandhi-karma (महानिशा सन्धि कर्म) is also service act. This is total mahashakti’s service. With kriya, goal arises and with jap completeness is achieved and alongwith it guru provided kaya is also achieved. Seva of seventeen kalaa (कला) mother involves poojan of 17 Kumari’s, non-menstruating girls. Kumari tattva actually is formless but in the cosmic creation it is represented by small girl. Physical Kumari is the real representative of the the adya Mother. When the real Kumari tattva (कुमारी तत्त्व) will appear, only then the whole creation will become Brahmmayi and all the pain will get removed.

Eternity of time is nothing but only kshan (क्षण) or moment is the most important, through this part alone the whole can be known………..Om!
