A. As per the tenth chapter of Vishnu Puran, Chariot of Sun is accompanied with different persons in different months of the year. If we know the details of them, same can be utilised for more specific poojan at any time. Keeping this in view, following chart has been generated for the Surya upasakas though it can be used by any serious sadhak as Panchayatan pooja padhati is generally used by them.

One Ghari=One Dand=24 minutes, 24 hours=60 Dand=8 prahar=30 Muhurt

Sunrise to a span of ten Dand time -------Basant

11^th Dand to 20 the Dand time      -------Grisham/Summers

21^st Dand to 30^th Dand time          -------Varsha/Rains

31^st Dand to 40^th Dand time          -------Sharat

41^st Dand to 50^th Dand time       ----------Hemant

51^st Dand to 60^th Dand time       ----------Shishir
