Atma Poojit Upnishat: The Upanishad on the Worship of Atma

                                     Atma Poojit Upnishat

The Upanishad on the Worship of Atma

Dwelling continuously on Atma is it’s DHYAN (meditation).

Relinquishing all karmas is it's AVAHAN (invitation).

Complete timeless knowledge is it’s ASAN (seat).

To always keep moving towards it is ARGHYA .

Ever keeping our mind in it's acquisition is PADYA (washing of feet) .

Keeping the light of Atma burning is ACHAMNI  (liquid offering).

To acquire That is SNAN (bathing).

Removal of all the world by knowing that all is Atma is GANDHA
(fragrance).

Inner knowledge is AKSHAT (rice offering).

The light of Chid is PUSHPA (flower offerings).

Atma in the form of Sun is DEEP (flame of the oil lamp).

Gathered nectar of the fully effulgent Inner Moon is NAIVEDYA
(food offering).

Complete establishment in it is PRADAKSHINA (circumambulation).

‘Soham’ is NAMASKAR (salutations).

Stuti (praise) of Parmeshwar is MAUN (non speaking).

To be always satisfied, such a state is VISARJAN (release).

Such a complete Raj-yogi’s poojan of Atma with various things, taking Atma as omnipresent is the bases of Atma.

Feeling that ‘I am complete Brahm, which is bereft of all pain and anguish of body and mind’ is the Sidhi for all those who are seeking MOKSHA (liberation).

Just like the worship of divinities by Dhyan, Avahan, Gandh, Naivedya etc. are essential, in the same way for poojan of our Atma, all the earlier explained things are essential, only then Atma can be truly worshipped and praised.

Om! Shantih Shantih Shantih. Thus speaks this Upnishat.

                                        ~**********OM**********~
