Renderings from Deh & Karm - IV

In the present world whatever activities are being undertaken, real goal can not be achieved through them beacuse all of them are based on the ego that 'I am the doer', they guide the jeeva in upper or lower movement depending upon good and bad karmas. They do not help him at all to establish in his own self (स्वभाव). Thus result of those karmas is happiness (सुख) and pain (दुख) alone and not rising of self knowledge (आत्म ज्ञान).

By the earlier mentioned 49 vayus (मारुत), different emotions are raised. Till these matrika powers are impure, thus their resultant emotion too is impure. Without purification of these, how can one transcend the state of emotion into state of self. Normal people can not do these, so their such powers remain impure. what to say of while in body, even after death nothing can be attained by them. But sadhaks or practitioners, who keep performing their atma karma (आत्म कर्म), they in time get established in that reality. It essential that all shaktis must be purified because even if one is left impure, one can not achieve or arrive in the desired state of self. This is also true that one can not attain human body if these powers are not impure. It is very difficult to attain their total purification while living in the physical body. After their complete purification, Videh Kaivalya (विदेह कैवल्य) is imminent. In the state of adept, Sadhak achieves a state of atomless (अणु विहीन), a state of no effect of matrikas (मात्रिका स्पर्श रहित), without any confusion (विकल्पहीन), bodyless (देहहीन), mind less (मनहीन) etc, while a Yogi by dint of his hard work converts all these matrika shaktis into the form of Mother. When this happens yogi becomes an adept or Siddha. But this is not Videh state (विदेह् स्थिति). Shakti after getting purified completely provides nourishment to his body. Sadhaks effort is to separate himself from the impure powers, while effort of Yogi is to purify all the impure powers and then attach them with himself. Now depending upon the percentage by which a yogi is able to convert these powers and get them associated with him, by that degree is his greatness. Ultimate yogis are only those, who can convert all the 49 powers (मारुत). They then receive Nitya-Kaya-Sampad/ नित्य-काया-सम्पद (Eternal body). They thus acquire a state of knowing their vishudh ahm (अहम) or ego. This is known as state of establishment in self of yogi. But this is not as per the Videh Kaivalya (विदेह कैवल्य) state of sadhak because Yogi's physical body is maintained and is free of effect of time and space over it.

Yogi after attaining  nitya (नित्य देह) or eternal body even has to transcend the gross during death because he wants to deliver both types of bodies from the effect of old age, decrepit and worn out state of body. A sadhak after getting free of gross (स्थूल शरीर) gets established in the chidakash realm (चिदाकाश) after purifying different elements. He gets free of gross visible body but does not acquire divine body and there is no chance of it even. But a Yogi is able to construct his own form after attaining siddhi. Though newly developed own body (स्वकाया) is not his subtle body but is similar to it. Taking its support, he keeps progressing on the path of atma-karma-development (आत्म कर्म विकास), purity (शुद्धता) is developed. He has to let go of earlier gross body because if he has to remain in it, then he will have to be very secretive (गुप्त). While in his swa-kaya (स्वकाया), he gets separated from all the effects of his previous body. Through yog practice, it is possible to make the gross physical body eternal friend of atma. This is a very difficult knowledge but not impossible to attain. Because we have many yogis in the world who have kept their physical bodies and were not effected by time and space (काल तथा आकाश). This is quite evident in the reference of 84 siddhas’. In case of 84 siddhas, the gross body does not disappear but is kept. Hence bodily ego (शारीरिक अहंकार) is kept alive. Gross (स्थूल) is considered lower because of its ignorant state, but when it connects with divine conscious and attains effulgent form then it attains eternity.
