Kundlini, a view.

KUNDLINI:

   In the middle of the Bindu of Mahashakti peeth of Mooladhar lives Kundlini shakti, where she is known as Atma Shakti.

   Kundlini shakti is TRIVALYAKAAR and is wrapped around Swayambhu linga in three and a half circles and is in Sushupt state.  Because of this, atma is called JEEV; as Satva, Rajas and Tamas are the three cirles which bind the atma. Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra Granthis are the three knots which bind the atma and give it a name of Jeev.

   While doing sadhana, Kundlini gets jagrit. She starts leaving her circular state. This way, one by one all the Valyas(circles) get straightened and kundlini takes the form of a STRIGHT LINE and gets into a state of upward movement. Here, since she starts moving upward, she is called SHAKTI. This shakti starts moving upwards slowly and slowly piercing various chakras.

 

   Moving upwards she assimilates all the MATRIKA SHAKTIS and takes them along with her in her movement towards Sahasrar. Thus a Jeev moves on the path of MUKTI or FREEDOM. As a result of her upward movement, one conquers Sat, Raj and Tam. After this, kundlinis remaining half valya(circle), which represents Turiya starts getting straightened. After her straightening, in the state of Turiya one transcends even the Jeevhood. When this transcendence is complete, the shakti(kundlini) reaches Sahasrar. She transforms into the Isht of the sadhak and gives Darshan and JEEV is realised as SHIV. Shakti embraces Shiva and both become ONE.

   This meeting of Shakti and Shiva produces ANAND which starts flowing in the form of pure nectar. Shakti gets fully satiated with it and also makes other accompanying matrika shaktis drink this nectar to the full. Then kundlini starts descending towards her own place in Mooladhar. On her downward descent, she re-establishes all the Matrikas in their respective places and rest in the bindu of mooladhar once again. …………Om Shakti!
