As per the followers of Paramhamsa Vishudhanandji eight divisions of time have been explained as below:

Mahamaha Kshan             11.30 pm to 12 ‘O’ clock.

Maha kshan                      12 ‘O’ clock midnight to 3 am.

Brahmkshan                     3 am to Sunrise

Mayakshan                       Sunrise to 8 am

Mohmayakshan                8 am to 12 noon.

Abhishipt(cursed) kshan    12 noon to 3 pm.

Dagdh(Burnt)kshan           3 pm to evening time.

Sandhikshan                     Evening time to Sunset.

After Sandhya Trikaal time also is explained as below:

Kaal                                    Evening time to 8 pm.

Akaal                                  8 pm to 10 pm.

Kaalakaal                            10 pm to 11 pm.

Power which develops by joining all the three is called trikaal shakti which is also called Astha. After this 11.30 pm is called Adhaar. When adhaar arises then Kshan also takes form. When it joins with it then Mahamahakshan establishes. Understanding of these in sadhana or practices is very important as per gurus.

Mahamahakshan though arises at night but it represents Yogi’s Day. Hence for him it is essential to take care of Mahamahakshan. Without embracing Kshan one can not get siddhi. Very few in the world of today know the importance of this kshan. Karma performed during maha nisha is a night time work as per ordinary sight but it is day time karma for a yogi. By imbibing kshan of sunset, karma of evening become sidh. Mahanisha karm is associated with Mother while eveing karma is attached with Guru. Karm is developed in mahanisha but its offered before Guru during evening. Without the help of kshan or moment, momentary living jiva can never progress on this great path. For a yogi nothing is tyajya but for him everything is important and useful---Yog Tantra Sadhana-Rameshchandra Avasthi.

Chit shakti is connected to 16 nitya kalaas, which are connected to Mantra, Mantra is connected to Sushumana, Sushumana to Matrika, Matrika to ida(mind) and that to Sun and Moon and all of them with Srichakra which represents Deh/Pind/Body and Viraat deh/Cosmos simultaneously.

Stiryodevah Striyapranah striyaev hi bhushanam,

Strisangina sada bhavyam Anytha swastriya api.

Ratrau prayatnam karyam Ratrau ch shakti poojanam,

Ratrau kul kathalaapam Ratrau ch anya samapyet.

Prataha snanam tato devi Devan Pitrin Rishistahtha,

Tarpayitva Yajet devim Upcharair yatha vidhi.

Poorvahn Vihitaam Poojaam grihnati pardevta,  

Madhyan Vihitam devi grihnanti Yoginigana.          

Aprahnkrita pooja Niyte Yaksha Rakshasaih,

Poorvahna Diyate Yad aitad amritam samudireetam.

Madhyane Tatu deveshi Shonitam ch param Samritam,

Tasmaat sarv pratyanen Bahyapoojaam maheshwari,

Pratared sada kuryaat Grihasto Grahniyutah-57-62,15^th patal,Gandharva Tantra.

Women are Dev, are Pran and are Ornaments. Hence always remain with them. One should be with one’s shakti. At night one should sight see and at night one should do shakti poojan also. Discussions on kul katha should also be done during night and all such works should be performed at night. O Devi, after completion of night one should have bath in the morning, tarpan of Devta-Rishi-Pitra and then perform poojan of the devi with various items(upchaar). Poorvahn pooja is accepted by Paradevi, Madhyahn poojan is accepted by group of Yoginis, Aprahn pooja is accepted by Rakshasas. What evr is offerd during poorvahn is Nectar, even during madhyahn also it is so but during aprahn it becomes like blood. Hence O Maheshwari, a grihastha(married person) should always perform poojan in the morning with his shakti………………..Om!
