9.1.38-Part-I

9.1.38-Part-I:- Svasamvedan-Pt.Gopinath Kaviraj

From Kala, ling manifests, from Nishkal (निष्कल) --> Vastu/ वस्तु (Object) -->Prakash/प्रकाश (effulgence) --> Kala (कला) --> Jyoti/ ज्योति (light with form).

While source of darkness is Gun/ गुण (attribute). Gun/ गुण (non-object) --> Tam/ तम (Darkness), which is an imagined part of non-object (avastu/ अवस्तु).

Without Kala there can be no Jyoti (ज्योति), if there is jyoti only then there is kala. This jyoti encircles the prakash or Vasty or object. Movement can take place from Light to darkness and also from darkness to light. Realms are two in number, light and darkness. During Diksha/ दिक्षा one moves from realm of light to realm of darkess. Part of object is known as 'Kala(कला)', its effulgence is called  'Jyoti(ज्योति)'. Avastu's part is 'Gun(गुण)' and its prabha is 'darkness(अन्धकार)'.

Vastu or Sat is Nishkal (निष्कल) while Avastu or Asat (असत्) is Nirgun (निर्गुण). Samashti/ समष्टि (aggregate of all kalas) is known as Bindu (बिन्दु). It get generated when all the 16 kalas come together. Without 16 kalas Amrit-Bindu (अमृतबिन्दु) cannot be generated. Bindu (बिन्दु) which is formed due to coming together of 15 kalas is not stable, it keeps on being formed and being broken. After Poornima (पूर्णिमा) comes Amavas (अमावस्या), after Amavas comes Poornima.

In the realm of darkness too, the above kaals are present. In the realm of darkness the bindu is of 15 kalas, which is not stable but keeps breaking. There is no Amrit bindu (अमृतबिन्दु) in darkness. So kala of darkness is nt pure, it is always mixed with ignorance. Only Amrit bindu (अमृतबिन्दु) completely purified satva, whiel bindu of darkness is with impurity of ignorance. Howsoever this jyoti may purify, some amount of darkness persists in it. This partial darkness, which never gets removed is known as the original sin or basic ignorance. In the mid point of this darkness, there is no movement of jyoti or kala. Its without any part or is without any atribute or Nirgun. There are the 15 kalas are veiled. This is known as grossness and annihilation of prakriti (प्राकृति). This is basic untruth, Nishkal (निष्कल), nirgun (निर्गुण). Sat (सत्) or object also Nishkal or Nirgun, so at the extreme level both are one. Though similar but still one has to move from the side of Kala and jyoti only and not from other side. One cannot move from the side of Gun and Tam/ darkness. Like object is not light or kala, in the same manned non-object is also not darkness of gun. But after realization of fullness of jyoti, then beyond it there is no possibility of darkness. After transcendence of Jyoti or Kala, there is no feeling of jyoti, in the same manner after transcendence of darkness too, there is no feeling of darkness. Still real path is the path of realization. The 15 kala bindu is known as 'Chit(चित्त्)' or 'Mind(मन)'. This is known as ling. But in this some darkness always prevails.

With diksha due to connection with 16 kala bindu, purified kala is awakened. 05 kalas always remain in the human body.

Development of these 05 kalas in humans leading to divinehood, and is also known as development of divine-eye.

As per sequence, these are 16 kalas, but actually they are 08. The kalas which are sixteen as per sequence, they infact are 32 and are known as White bindu (श्वेत बिन्दु). This is the eye of forehead. From Anuswar to White-bindu, is divinehood, while White-bindu is Purusha (पुरुष) or Atma (अत्मा)

The area all around is darkness, is also known as dark-bindu (अन्धकार बिन्दु) or circumfrence or radiation. All together, it becomes 38 kalas.

Divine eye (देव चक्षु) which are used for seeing divinities reside in this veryy physical body. If one pierces it, then only forehead eye works because at that tiem divine-eye is not required. But for darshan of Golok, even forehead eye does not suffice. Here one has to have an eye which can see all around. In forehead, downward directed gaze works.

Without development of kala, beej-bhav cannot arise. At the first feeling of kala, jeev abhav arises. The creation takes place through breath and perpiration.

1-4 kala raises Andhaj (अण्डज) creation, that which comes out of egg. This kala is from North side and has a face like a conch.

5-8 kala raises Jarayuj (जरायुज), those who are born with a covering all around like, humans, cows, cats, dogs etc.

9-12 kala raises Humans, its a kala of realm of divines.

13-16 kala raises divine humans. Kla for first initiation (दीक्षा) come from realms of divines.

17-32 kalas come down from Dhruv lok (ध्रुवलोक)and are used in 2nd initiation.

33-38 kalas used in 3rd initiation come down from golok (गोलोक).

Without generation of knowledge, Yog sadhana cannot take place. Becuase without coming in contact with pure 16 kala bindu, pure kala is not received. If before realization of knowledge, one starts purification of bindu, then it will reduce impurities and darkness but basic purification will not at all take place. Whatever is being talked of getting removed, it has no value. Becuase what gets removed will appear again too. This is ordinary good karma, in which basic impurity still remains, but still one gets upward movement. But one falls back again. Real growth does not take place. All the effort goes waste. because the fruit is not stable. After rising of the knowledge whatever efforts are made they are fruitful and their fruit never gets destroyed.

But if with extreme effort, one attains purification up to 15 kalas, then some ignorance or darkness prevails, then as per the natural rule 16th kala descends and panchdashi converts to Shodashi. This is amrit bindu. But it develops slowly. Like developing into Anuswar etc. Bindu is one only. By upward movement of the pure kala, Bindu becomes more and more clear. This is the main path of sadhana or practice. Grace (कृपा) descends. Till effulgence of pure kala is not attained, therefore one is not able to locate it. Bindu is There but kala's effulgence develops slowly inside only and it cannot be seen from outside. This path is mainly grace oriented.......to be continued to Part-II. from Svasamvedan, written by Pt. Gopinath Kaviraj, translation into Hindi by Pt.
