Upto wherever is the reach of the mind is till than is the real of duality, till then is the concept of karma and till that point is the presence of Kaal (time). Where there is no mind there is nothing, onlt witness state. When this witness state is fully realized, mind becomes actionless or still. When mind becomes still then all the vibrations in the body cease, all muscles and fibres still.
When every thing was vibrating the chanted mantra was in Vishuddhi chakra and slowly slowly it descended downward. When the vibrations in the body decrease we proceed towrads the state of kumbhak. When state of Kumbhak become established and strong then mantra decends into Mooladhara. This happens when mantra metamorphasizes from vachak or vaikhari (वैखरी) state to Madhyama state (मध्यमा) via upanshu jap.
On stillness of the mind, dual of Ida and Pingala also neutralize and Sushumna flow starts. Inside Sushumana the flow gets upward directed. This upward movement is infact chakra bhedan or piercing of the lotuses. In an ordinary person these 7 downward pointing centres are called Chakras (चक्र) while in sadhak they are known as lotuses (कमल).
As more and more stillness is attained, by that much percentage effect of mind and desire or passion decreases. When one gets full control over the desireless and passions associated with a particular lotus then only one piercs it. Piercing gives one full control or adhikar (आधार) over that very energy centre. Thus one's path towards piercing of subsequent chakras is opened. This by raising the first bindu of Mooladhar through Sushumana, one joins it with that of Swadhissthan above it. This way Kundalini shakti gains strength. This way as all the six chakras bindus are raised and joined together in the bindu of Ajna chakra then Kundalinin Shakti becomes fully empowered. Now it exhibits itself in the form of light instead. This in itself is known as reaching Pashyanti (पश्यन्ति) from Madhyama (मध्यमा).
Till now we felt the Pranic energy as heat (ushma) inSushumana and as bolt like jerks (झटके) in Vajra, now the same energy is felt in the form of light (prakash) or sight or Chitra (चित्रा). This is the experience of Pashyanti state through Chitrani (चित्रणी). When Dharan (धारणा) becomes stronger here, Bindu () is perceived in the centre. When Dharana on Bindu is strengthened then the constricted hole in its centre starts opening. In the strong focussed state with the help of Brhamnadi () sadhak crosses to the other side to enter into the realm of Mahamaya leaving the realm of Maya behind. Maya is the realm of give and take or Vyavhar (), where karm is essential but the space of Mahamaya is the realm of Prem or Love, where grace descends and karm vanishes.
After the bindu crossover one reaches Ardh Chandra, Siddh Guru space in Nirodhika. After prostrating to his Padukas in Hamsa peeth, seeking his blessings one moves forward. As one moves mantra becomes more and more subtle. Thus one moves from Naad to Naadant, when Nadant is reached then mantra become s almost silent.
After nadant is the space of Shakti which is moved with Bhav, as karm alone is not enough to move it. Thus one moves from Shakti to Vyapini, Vyapini to Unmani. Unmani is the state of transcendence of individual mind. As mind has ceased, so mantra jap cannot be performed. Here the bhav intensfies and mantra descenda into the heart. There it breaks into light and sfuran and become Ajapa. Sadhak just experiences and he is not required ot chant it. Mantra flows in the form of sfuran in our breath, in our pran and in every pore of the body.
Thus moving from Shakti, Vyapini, Unmani one moves towards Mahabindu bhedan through Brahmnadi. Mahabhaj starts rising and bhakti starts descending due to grace (Kripa) of the Mother. Upto Unamna is the movement of Mind and mantra. After this Mahabindu bhedan has to be attained. After crossing it one will have to leave Brahmnadi and follow Chetana Shakti which is in the form of light ray. This is the journey from Kampan to Kalan. As one approaches source of Chietan Shakti, the pool of Chetana, one reaches Param Bindu from where journey from Kalan to Nishkal is started.........Shakanand.
