KRIYA YOGA:
Taking his past KARMAS along, a jeeva sets on his journey of this world. Depending upon his SAMSKAARS, he tries to locate a favourable womb and takes birth in such a family which will give him surroundings as per his requirements. Staying there, he tries to fulfill his desires.
This life is given to him to open the knots of his karmas. He has to experience the fruits of his desires, understand them and realize that he has to disassociate himself from them. But instead of getting away from them he gets attached to them and slowly-slowly start sinking in this pit of attachments.
In the CHID form space or ocean, waves of EGO in the form of CHIT arise and it causes birth of WHIRLPOOLS of VRITTIS. These VRITTIS become more and more strong and take the form of DESIRES. To fulfill these desires this CYCLE OF LIFE and DEATH starts.
To fulfill any attachment, life force(pran shakti) has to work behind it and without it we can not experience the desire. Greater the power behind that DESIRE, quicker and more strongly we will experience it. Lesser the power of life force behind it, lesser will be our mental focus on it and hence less chances of the same happening in our life.
Thus our life force is running madly after our desires, and this web never leaves us in whole of our life span. It is said that a jeeva has to take at least thirty five human births to get satisfied by experiencing his desires or rather to realize that we can not cross over these desires or get satiated by actually experiencing them. To get free of them, we will have to transcend them. Thus a JEEV changes the direction of running, instead of towards the world, it turns inwards towards REALIZATION. It takes almost one hundred human births to realize this and reach there,
In these one hundred births due to various reasons we enter in to different wombs. All these are essential for the evolution of Jeev. If an ordinary Jeev keeps moving along with the flow of the prakriti or nature, following the natural evolutionary process it will take about one million years to reach back to the source. But a SADHAK, is not ready to wait that long. He tries to reach his goal as quickly as possible. But it is also said at many places that destiny plays the major role then how can one change the course of ones destiny. As regards this one feels that by continuously working on this path one starts attracting the GRACE which ultimately propels one on to the higher levels. We have the freedom to choose our karma and not the outcome of it.
With the help of winds of EGO, in the ocean of CHID, waves of VRITTI arise which are represented in our body in the form of fifty petals of various lotuses or chakras. In these fifty petals manifest fifty MATRIKA shaktis which are also called the varnas. These are located in the six lotus on the Sushmana in our body. 4 of them are in Mooladhar, 6 of them are in Swadhishthan, 10 of them are in Manipur, 12 of them are in Anahat, 16 of them are in Vishudhi and 2 of them are in Agya chakra.
All these are located in our body and set in to motion by our past karmas and samskaars. More the focusing of life force on any petal, greater reflection of the attributes of that petal in our body will be experienced. Thus, with whatever strong Samskaar a jeev will take birth, that particular petal will start working automatically in him/her. If after experiencing that desire, he does not transcend it, then it will become more and more strong and jeev will get struck there only. This process in the nature occurs at a very slow pace.
What ever SADHANAS we perform, they are meant to quicken this pace only. In kriya yoga life force is moved in the body along various psychic path ways. This life force is provided in abundance to various chakras or lotuses, which is thus received by various petals located there. Every petal has its own kind of attribute. When our life force focuses on it, that particular attribute MANIFESTS in us. Thus a SADHAK or PRACTITIONER, regularly moves this life force on the petals and awakens them. This is like awakening a sleeping lion. Under the guidance of Guru when it arises then only MOTHERS grace saves the sadhak. Then as per the instruction of Guru, a sadhak understands those obstructions, finds ways to cross over and rises higher and higher in his quest of self realization. He turns all the past karmas and smaskaars of his earlier lives in to ashes in the battle ground of the present body. After the annihilation of all these demons, he gets ultimate anand. Thus a sadhak enters in to the lap of the MOTHER becoming her child and thus crosses over this world of illusion or maya.................Om!
