Renderings from Deh & Karm - III

The physical body norn from a womb alone is valled karm deh (कर्मदेह). Till one has to perform karma, he has to have a karm deh. Now by karmas we mean those which are meant for evolution of the atma and not Anatmkarm, which are performed in the mayic world. Because due to the effect of anatam karma we expereince pains and pleasures in our body. For experiencing those we go to upper or lower realms. The body which expereinces this is known as Bhogdeh (भोगदेह). This does not mean that such karmas are not expereinced in the human body, they are expereinced in this too but to some limited percentage only. But Karmic body (कार्मिक देह) can only be human body. There is no doubt that even for atma karma, only human body is needed.

By performance of atma karmas, one can attain evolution in different levels of consciouness. Due to their intensity, Atma karma can be divided into three different categories. Till atma karma is performed, consciousness does not arise. This consciousness is present in the form of Kundalini power in all the humans. Till after rising of this Kundalini, Shivhood is not achieved, human is still not called human but an animal only. This rising is not same in all persons while in many persons it is not there at all. Hence all people can not be put under same category. Depending on their capacity, Guru transfers energy into them during initiation. If the base of the carrier i.e. disciple is weak then rise of kundalini power in his body is less. He has to work on it himself to raise it higher. As this consciousness arises higher and higher, Anatmbhav converts to atmabhav and thus the gateway to realization of complete atmabhav gets opened. When the knowledge that 'I am Atma' arises in the disciple then his Karm-Sanskar (कर्म संस्कार) are burnt for ever and gets established above the cycle of life and death. But still the seeds of animal bhav exist. The complete removal animal bhav does not occur till full establishment in Param-atma is not realized.

The spark of light-form-knowledge, established in the disciple by his/ her Guru during initiation, is further expanded by disciple through spiritual practice (साधना), which slowly starts burning his karm sanskar but not fully. This is because if all the sanskars are burnt, then one can not remain in the physical body. Then one would get established in Chidakash. Some call it Kaivalya (कैवल्य) or Videh kaivalya (विदेह कैवल्य). Hence one can not fully realize the completeness in this body, as some ignorance remains in it.

There is no othere isht dev apart form Kundalini for a spiritual practitioner, one may give any name to it but this can not be denied that it is only kundalini power. In the state of adept, there exists no difference between sadhak (realizer) and saadhya (to be realized). In this state maya or illusion is completely removed. One's personality does not completely gets removed but it is of no use now.

Disciple whose base is stronger his omvement takes place in diferent manner. Such people are referred to as yogis. In such people development of Kundalini (कुण्डलिनी) takes place right from start. Where sadhana of sadhak finishes, yogi's practice starts from there. Thus karmas of sadhak and yogi are different from the begining. Not only karmas but their fruits are also different. In case of Sadhak, due to the effect of his karmas, his desires, attachments etc gets eradicated and their seeds all get converted into Chidalok (चिदालोक). Thus his continuous effort against the opposing forces get finished. His entity joins the Chittsatta (चित्त्सत्ता) and become one. The connection of body and mind severes, one establishes in the self.

In case of yogis its different. His work is not to remove the opposing forces but his aim is that tese opposing forces should also get purified and convert into force of the self itself. Leaving aside the enmity, by becoming unconcerned by it or establishing just like a witness, one's atma feels it has attained freedom. It is nt the aim of Yogi to avoid shakti (power) and remain without shakti (power). With the help of kriyas Yogis outer shaktis though are not much but his development of internal powers make atma very powerful.

The aim of sadhak is Videh-kaivalya (विदेह कैवल्य), no confusion remians in this state. Without coming together of Karan body and mind, duality of options in thinking can not exist. His aim is to perform actions in siddha state to arrive at actionless form of chitt.

While yogis aim is to attain Pind Siddhi. He converts the impure duality of option in thinking in to purity and achieves nirvikalp state. His aim is to convert impure actions into pure actions and convert into love for god. This love of god is the main aim of human life. Hence a yogi in state of complete freedom is never without form. Attaining this eternal form, he keeps on performing karmas and moving continuously on the path of Akhand Karm (अखण्ड कर्म).

What is the meaning of Nitya kaya or eternal form of a yogi? After getting birth in human form, one moves in the realm of kaal raatri. Here the movement is towards death. During life, various powers of kaal illuminate our inner being. Thus collecting each power one by one in the end, one leaves the physical frame. Generally, there are seven kinds of air bu they are furthere subdivided into 49 types by dividing each into seven part. Due to kaalshakti, these 49 kinds of air (49 मरुद गण) convert into 49 kinds of atomic power. These 49 shaktis in the form of matrika shakti creates ideas in the mind of the jeev. These shaktis making us, the pure atma, make us believe to be impure, establishes us in a state of duality or multiplicity in thinking. Without purification of this aspect, one can not achieve self realization. What to say of yogi's even the aim of Sadhak should be get his atma free from the attack of these matrika shaktis, (which propell us in maya) and establish in self. The principle aim of atma-karm is this only.

The popular karmas which we perform all around in the world do not fall into the category of atma karma. All those karmas are ego centric, hence take the jeev in upper or lower realms w.r.t. good deeds and sins performed by him. Through them one experiences the fruit of pain or happiness but not the realization of self. If Kundalini power does not arise at all, even in that state lowest forms of atma karmas can still be performed........ to be cotinued to Part-IV. Om! ..............Shaktanand.
