Movement of the yantra (यन्त्र) creates sound or shabd. What is Yantra (यंत्र) is known as Chakra. The movement of the yantra takes place due to element of Fire (अग्नि), Water (जल) and Air (वायु). Actually when fire and water join together, the resultant steam is element of air.

Darshan takes place in three stages, first is dual (द्वैत), second dual-nondual (द्वैत-अद्वैत) and third is non-dual (अद्वैत) form. When chakra is moving we hear sahbd or sound, which is called Naad (नाद). Those who are initiated they hear sound of Om/ ॐ, those who are not initiated they hear it in their own manner. On listening to this naad, more we get engrossed in it the more we become one with it. Slowly one experiences oneself as naad or shabd. ‘I myself am that effulgent form sound or naad, one realizes like this, this is known as indifferent knowledge of sound. After this no sound is heard. This is known as nirvikalp (निर्विकल्प) state.

Thus one is lead to Jyoti. This also progresses in stages as earlier. In the end one starts feeling that one has become jyoti itself. Now jyoti is called Divya-jyoti (दिव्य ज्योति). This jyoti or light is coming from the body of divinity. Behind it is Brahm-jyoti (ब्रह्मज्योति). Jyoti darshan also has three stages. I am that light, this is samadhi (समाधि). After this jyoti disappears. Then one sees the form of divine from which this light was coming. This is kala (कला) form divine from whom light is continuously emanating. On getting one with this form, one arrives at a state that I myself am that divinity. After this form also disappears.

After above state, one enters into formless realm. This is known as realization (साक्षत्कार) of shakti. Then one realizes that he himself is that shakti or power. Then one transcends it too.

After this one realizes oneself as the basic entity of creation. After that that entity also disappears, then one realizes pure Pranav (प्रणव). In the highest state of it, one realizes pranavtanu (प्रणव-तनु) and realizes Brahm-jyoti (ब्रह्मज्योति).

After transcending Brahm-jyoti (ब्रह्मज्योति), one realizes limitless light, which is know as ‘I’. One cannot transcend this as this alone is completeness.

Without blossoming of the form, completeness (पूर्णत्व) cannot be attained. It is like a circle without a centre. It is not stable. When form appears, then due to expansion of energy from it a circle is formed. Central point will remain till circle is there. Till the centre blossoms, it will remain unknown for ever.
